TMDN WWE Monday Night RAW Power Rankings (for the week of 09/14/10)

Hello all. Welcome to the first edition of THE MODERN DAY NERD'S WWE RAW Power Rankings. A weekly look at who I belive to the be the best of the best in everyones favorite scripted non-sports entertainment world of professional wrestling that is the WWE. Today we look at the Monday Night RAW roster. And here...we....GO!

Monday Night RAW

10. Goldust

Sneaks onto my top ten at the last minute following his EPIC use of the "Power of the Punch" on The Joker...err, uh..William Regal on Raw.

9. Daniel Bryan

His continual embarrassment of The Miz will only help him climb the list. I will mark out like a little kid if he locks The Miz in Cattle Mutilation at Night of Champions.

8. The Miz

Let's get this out of the way. THE MIZ IS AWESOME!!! I rank him low only because he has become Daniel Bryan's bitch, but I rank him just a spot higher than his arch rival due to this carrying the United States Championship and that little briefcase he is carrying around, which has become an afterthought.

7. Chris Jericho

Following an awesome match with Morrison last week, Jericho has a great little cage match with the Hart Dynasty, or basically Tyson Kidd. Is he leaving the company? Who knows, but I greatly enjoyed his back and forth with Michael "Mysterious GM" Coleslaw on Monday Night.

6. Edge

The Rated R Superstar seems to have a common enemy with Y2J. Edge could be a dark-horse to win the WWE Championship Sunday, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I think a certain mysterious GM will have something to say about that.

5. John Morrison

The Monday Night Delight has had two great outings recently. First against Chris Jericho and this week against WWE Champion Sheamus. I like that WWE is incorporating his parkour training into his character...this guy deserpately needed a nudge creativly. I see big things in his future.

4. Sheamus

The Celtic Warrior has really been more of a Human Jar of Mayonaise lately. He was well on his way to losing to John Morrison Monday night, and he is probably the least likely to win this Sunday. Which means he'll more than likely retain.

3. John Cena

The Doctor of Thuganomics has been on a bit of a losing streak lately, but still looks strong heading into Night of Champions. Can he become WWE Champion once again?

2. Wade Barrett

The leader of the Nexus has the numbers game in his corner heading into the Six Man Elimination Match at Night of Champions. However one man seems to be a thorn in Mr. Barrett's side heading into Sunday....

1. Randy Orton

That man is Randy Orton. The Apex Predator of the WWE Universe has been on a roll since...damn, since Wrestlemania. It's like Oprah is the guest star of Raw and "you get an RKO and you get an RKO and you get an RKO and you get an RKO!" The Viper will be WWE Champion before the end of the year. Count on it.

Dont forget, Night of Champions is this Sunday night. So far the card looks like this....

CM Punk v. The Big Show

WWE Women's Championship/Diva's Championship Unification Lumberjill Match

Divas Champion Melina v. Women's Champion Layla El or Michelle McCool

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match (Ziggler can lose via count out or disqualification)

Champion Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero v. Kofi Kingston

WWE United States Championship Match

Champion The Miz v. Daniel Bryan

World Heavyweight Championship Match

Champion Kane v. The Undertaker

WWE Championship Six Pack Challenge Elimination Match

Champion Sheamus v. John Cena v. Randy Orton v. Wade Barrett v. Chris Jericho v. Edge

And if you are going to have a pay-per-view called Night of Champions you'd expect all championships to be defended, but I guess they'll just throw The Hart Dynasty on without advertisement against two members of The Nexus and the Harts will lose...just you wait and see.

PEACE OUT WHITE STAINS!
